Information to help competitors with their participation in the Gold & Silver Star Finals, note the following:

1. Ferry Travel
Bookings for the ferry crossings can be made via Nutt Travel in Coleraine
Recommended crossing is Cairnryan to Belfast via Stena Line
Crossing is 2hr 15mins

As a guideline, the following costings are based on travelling outwards on Friday 17th January @ 11.30 / inward on Sunday 19th January @ 15.30:
Van 7m with 2 passengers : approx. £370 return
6m Trailer adds approx. £100 (total approx. £470)
Car with 2 passengers and 6m Trailer : approx. £450 return

As a guideline, the following costings are based on travelling outwards on Friday 17th January @ 09.00 / inward on Sunday 19th January @ 14.45:

Car with 2 passengers and 6m Trailer : approx. £395 return
No Carnet is required for travelling through the Republic of Ireland you will need to fill in an oral declaration as below link.
On arrival at the Irish port, make your way to the Import Area and an official will stamp your form and repeat via the Export Area on the way back. You will also need proof of entry into the event and an inventory of what you are carrying.

Flight Travel
For anyone who wishes to fly across, there are two airports within 40 minutes of the site and/or hotel. These are the George Best Belfast City Airport and the Belfast International Airport

This is approximately 19 miles from Belfast ferry port and approximately 26 miles to the event venue. Located just off the M2/M22 motorway, north of Antrim.
The Bed & Breakfast rates are:

An allocation of bedrooms has been reserved for the BTRDA of:
Friday 17th : 20 bedrooms
Saturday 18th : 30 bedrooms
These are on a ‘first come/first served’ basis and please note that any unsold bedrooms not booked by 23rd December will be released for general sale – so book early to avoid disappointment!!!

An alternative hotel nearby is The Holiday Inn Express Antrim – just 1.2 miles from The Dunsilly Hotel, towards Antrim. No reservations have been made at this hotel, just for your information purposes if required!

Competitors will be invited to participate in the Gold and Silver Star Finals, as per the Championship regulations.
Entries to the event will be via the Northern Phoenix Trials Car Club website and entry fee should be paid before the event. Details are shown in the Regulations.
4. Awards Dinner Tickets
On the evening of Saturday 18th January, it’s time to get dressed up and attend the Annual Awards Presentation.
The function is being held at The Dunsilly Hotel. A three-course dinner will be served following which the winners of the vast array of impressive trophies will be presented to those who have fared well at the Finals earlier that day and during the Championship year.
Dinner tickets are £40.00 per person.
Marshals / Officials Tickets £20 Per Person
The tickets should be purchased via the BTRDA website closing date for this is Sunday 5th of Jan
Don’t forget to let Josh know of any special dietary requirements ahead of the evening, to ensure your requirements can be met.
If there is anyone in particular you would like to be seated with – or possibly not seated with - then let Josh know and he’ll try to accommodate you as much as possible. Tables will be for 10 guests per table.
Dress code is preferably Black Tie. Alternatively Lounge Suits are acceptable and we would ask that you ideally resist casual attire – it is our premier presentation awards evening after all !!
